My invention that I would choose to research is the video game console. Video games have been around since the 1960s.  they have been very influential to the way kids grow up.  Ralph Baer is the inventor of the game console.  He made the Magnavox Odyssey in 1972.  It was the first in a long line of steadaly mare advanced game consoles.  For those who dont know, a video game console is an interactive entertainment computer or electronic device that manipulates the video display signal of a display device (a television, monitor, etc.) to display a game.  In the beginning the consoles were large and blocky and very slow.  There games were simple and had bad graphics.  A good example is the comparison of Halo3 and Pong.  All Pong was, was a white rectangle hitting a white circle to another white rectangle.   Halo3 has a complicated plot complicated controls and variety of commands.  The difference is obvious.  Technology.  From manuel to computer, wired to wireless, old to new.  it has affected the world by changing the way we play and grow up.  Kids go out side less and spend more time by a TV there are less athletes and more nerds.   The humans are moving less  and less.  so as you can see the video game console is very important to our world and future.
